Freely manipulate data with selections

Discover the multiple selections, which allow you to create production models, sales models or more generally to manipulate all your data very easily!

What is a selection?

Selections are lists of ingredients and / or recipes associated with quantities and units

You can think of selections as templates / templates.

The selections offer great flexibility in the management of the data on FoodMeUp because they you can do many actions.

Make a production model

Do you have the habit of producing the same thing week after week?

Create a selection with the list of items to send to production and give it a name, for example if you are a "Week 1 CAP" school teacher or if you are a "Breakfast buffet" hotel owner.

Each time you have to schedule a production, all you have to do is adjust the quantities, click on "Other actions" then "Produce".

Make a sales template with the dishes on your menu

Do you have a habit of selling the same thing week after week?
If you are a restaurant owner and have a menu, that's for sure: you are used to selling the products on your menu.

Create a selection with the list of elements of your card and call it "My card" for example.

Each time you need to see sales, you just have to adjust the quantities, click on "Other actions" then "Sell".

From the same selection, you can also print the allergen table.

Extract ingredients and sub-recipes from your recipes

This is one of FoodMeUp's flagship features!

With the selections you can extract the ingredients and sub-recipes of your products for:

  • order the ingredients
  • destock / restock ingredients
  • better plan your production

Use the other functionalities: stock / destock ...

The selections are very flexible. You can find new use cases and use all the actions in the "Other actions" menu.

You can send the selected items to other screens. From these screens you can also return things to the selections, for example, go back to a production week that has worked well or that corresponds to a particular seasonality, and make it a model
